Nimbuzz is a free instant messaging application for BlackBerry that allows you to chat with your friends on different IM and social networks. Supported services include Google Talk, Windows Live (MSN), AIM, and Facebook.
Thanks to its clean and well designed user interface, Nimbuzz gives you instant access to all of your contacts in one list. Online friends are displayed at the top, and the rest of your contacts show up underneath. Handily, Nimbuzz suggests friends from your contacts book who already have a Nimbuzz account.
Chat options in Nimbuzz are pretty limited. There is a selection of different emoticons you can use in your conversations, and you can keep a history of your chats - but that's about as far as it goes for features. For instance, you cannot insert images or files into your messages. There are no voice chat capabilities included in this BlackBerry version of Nimbuzz.
There are a few options and settings you can tweak to tailor your Nimbuzz experience. You can choose to sort contacts alphabetically or by network, show or hide offline contacts, and enable or disable chat pop-ups.
Nimbuzz offers an easy way to text chat with all your contacts from one place, although its functionality is fairly limited.
